Inventory

Unfortunately, we cannot hold records or set them aside for people. Releases are dished out on a first-come, first-serve basis… so if you’re gung-ho about getting something, best to sign up for our mailing list  and/or keep an eye on our online store.

 



Payment

We accept payment through PayPal, Shopify Pay (through which we have ZERO fees removed from your payment), and Amazon Pay.

 



Shipping

* Please note, if you order anything listed as a pre-order, or something that’s noted to be arriving soon, then your entire order will be held until all items are in stock and ready to ship.

You can estimate the shipping costs for your order before you commit to buying by clicking on the "Estimate Shipping" button in your shopping cart. We ship to all countries except Indonesia.

When we receive your order, we process it and ship it to you as quickly as we can. We try our best to pack and mail orders 3-4 business days from the date they are received.

All orders ship with a USPS tracking number that will be Emailed to you once the order ships.

**You should receive your order roughly 3-4 weeks from when you place it. Typically it will much take less time to arrive, but in peak busy periods it can take a little more. Please realize that although we take this mailorder operation very seriously, we're a super small business in a remote spot in rural Washington with just 2 people running the whole shebang. Only 1, yes 1, of these people is in charge of packing and shipping every single order that we receive. We ask that you please be patient when dealing with us, and despite our ominous moniker, treat us like human beings.**

That being said, we take pride in this operation and strive to get you your order as quickly as we can. If it's been more than 4 weeks since you ordered and your order hasn't arrived yet, you can write us for a status on it. Otherwise, PLEASE DO NOT WRITE asking the status of your order... it only slows us down and we'd rather spend time packing orders than answering emails. Shipping Options, and suggestions

We've been mailing packages professionally for over 18 years now and have learned a lot about the United State Postal Service (USPS) as a result. To be blunt, they're a bit unpredictable. To elaborate, the USPS is fully awesome 98% of the time... but maybe 2% of the time a package will randomly take a few weeks longer than it should to arrive, or similar bizarre occurrences. We've shipped tens of thousands of packages and literally only a handful have just "never shown up", but please realize we cannot unconditionally guarantee the safe arrival of a package as a result.

 



Packaging

How we pack our orders:
All of our vinyl orders are shipped in new, sturdy cardboard mailers. All of our CD orders are packed securely as well, usually in brand new bubble mailers but possibly otherwise for larger orders. We realize that packages will be handled by many people during shipment, so we do our best to pack your order securely. If you are extra fussy about your record jackets or CD jewel cases, please let us know ahead of time if you have additional shipment requirements.

* If you prefer your vinyl to be removed from the jacket prior to shipping to avoid seam splits, please request this in the notes when placing the order. 

 



Returns

If your order contains a defect, shipping error, or incorrect item please contact us and let us know.  Please understand that shipping vinyl is a delicate business and despite all our efforts to properly pack and protect your item some slight damage is possible as it travels en route to you.  We hope you can accept this if it occurs but if the damage is extreme, please contact us with photos and we can discuss returns or refunds at that time.  Again, only if the damage from shipping is extreme.  Thank you.

 



Issues with your order

What to do in the event of a problem with your order:
As mentioned above, we are actually humans... and do (infrequently) make mistakes from time to time. If you have a problem with your order (ie, missing item, wrong item received, heavy damage), just write us with a detailed explanation of what's happened. The email address is roboticmailorder [-at-] gmail [-dot-] com. Please be sure to include the full name you ordered under, as this is the main way we search for orders. As also mentioned above, please do allow 3-4 weeks for your order to arrive from when you placed it and please do not write about order status unless it's been a solid 4 weeks.
