Hi, we are really stoked that you like our record label but honestly, answering email all day stinks. Please don't write us unless you have to... like, in the off-chance we messed up your order or something. If you want your band to get "signed", seriously DO NOT WRITE. We are just not looking for new bands. Not trying to be jerks at all, as we are fully supportive of new/young bands doing their thing and the unbeatable excitement that comes with it... but realistically, we do not and cannot "sign" bands we don't already comfortably know the members of. Here's a quick FAQ first too:

Can you tell me when _______ will be released?
Maybe. When we know it, info on our upcoming releases is (slowly) updated on the discography page.
Ocasionally, new info will pop up on our myspace page first.
Another often-updated source of info is our news blog.

We don't really have a "list" but please send in samples of your writing work and any/all information about publications / websites your work is featured on (ie, view counts, print numbers, etc). I want a promo CD for my radio show/podcast/whatever:
We don't really service radio. No love lost, we just don't do this.

I want to book one of your bands, can you give me their contact info?
Our bands generally handle their own booking, be it on their own or through an agency. Please refer to the links page for contact info for many of the band we work/worked with..

My store/distro wants to carry your CDs/LPs, and other Robotic Empire wholesale questions:
We are exclusively distributed by Revolver USA / Midheaven Mailorder. If you can't / won't order from them for whatever reason, please write us at mailorder [- at -] roboticempire [- dot -] com ...but honestly, if you can please just get our stuff from them.

We try to stock our Online Store with like-minded stuff, but if you have release that we might be able to sell please write us at mailorder [- at -] roboticempire [- dot -] com ...please keep in mind though we are not be able to carry every band's release, but we will try to acommodate cool bands / cool labels when possible. Another thing to consider is that we typically sell vinyl better than CDs. Just a sign of the times.

I want to pre-order _______ record and/or I get paid Saturday, can you hold something for me?
Sorry, we do not hold records or set them aside for people. Limited vinyl is dished out on a first-come, first-serve basis... so if you're really gung-ho about getting the super-duper limited edition, best to sign up for our mailing list and/or keep an eye on our Online Store.

Do you have a street team?
No, we tried to organize this years ago and it turned into a big mess. Best to let that dog stay sleeping.

Where do I press CDs and vinyl for my band / label / spoken word solo project?
We typically use Icon Omnimedia for our CD jobs, and Pirates Press for our vinyl. Mammoth Printshop does a killer job with our t-shirts too.
