New PYGMY LUSH releases & merch galore, FLOOR repress and LOTS of new items & restocks!!

Its crazy to think we’re rounding the bend on TWELVE years of Robo-label activity, but our first release (the PG.99 / REACTOR NO. 7 split 7″) dropped in April of 1999. It suffices to say, this label wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for the Taylor brothers, their friends, and all the bands they’ve been a part of over the years. There’s something in the water in Sterling, Virginia and we feel genuinely honored to have been a small element of these dudes’ musical output over the (many) years.

Now that their current/most active band PYGMY LUSH is thankfully touring again, we decided to help stack out our old friends’ merch table with a plethora of goods to peddle. As a result we now have the same items available in our Online Store, although we officially and fully encourage you to pick up stuff direct from the band on tour with DES ARK whenever possible.

The goods we’ve stocked them with this time include a re-press of their first album, Bitter River, on cassette along with two more tapes: the fantastic split with TURBOSLUT (originally released on LP by Exotic Fever) and a new two-song “cassingle” on Cold World / Guilt, two super mellow cuts that didn’t quite fit on their new album Old Friends (released on Lovitt, who’s also issuing a 2-song 7″ of the cassingle songs). Soul-crushingly good tunes here.

Along with all that, they/we’ve got stickers, oversized buttons (1.5″), patches galore and a plethora of t-shirts both new and old. We’re trying out bundle packs for the first time too, so you can either get the individual tapes separately, all together and we’ll throw in a sizable pile of merch (buttons+patch+sticker), or you can just grab a merch bundle on its own. Three new t-shirts were printed too, the “Cold World” image expanded, plus white and black versions of the “Mount Hope” Ashburn House album design. We kinda went bonkers here, but it is a pretty lengthy tour too! If you’re not gonna see them, or foolishly spend all your cash on booze or something, check out the Robotic Empire – Online Store to pick up some of this awesome stuff.

Another band we’re EXTREMELY happy to announce is hitting the road is FLOOR!! Inspired by their reunion shows last year, the reignited trio is legitimately touring for the first time in like 9 years or so! Intense!!

In order to make sure they’ve got substantial music to sell (and since we’re getting down to the last copies of the deluxe vinyl box set discography), we re-pressed the 8xCD standalone edition of their expansive Below & Beyond discography! Ideally you’ll pick this up direct from the band on tour, but if not you can grab it now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store. This mamma jamma includes all 99(!) songs spread across 8 discs and includes the massive 32-page 12″x12″ booklet with hella photos, lyrics, back-story….everything. We just re-upped on the awesome Sight & Seen FLOOR 2xDVD too! Czech it out in the Robotic Empire – Online Store if you can’t catch them live.

In further “touring band news”, MAGRUDERGRIND is playing shows in various parts of the world this year, and they just sent us a stack of their FREE Crusher 10″ released by Scion(WTF). Yep, debate it any way ya want… regardless, we’re giving away copies of this appropriately monikered EP to folks who order the new “Facemelter” t-shirt we printed up last month. Totally badass 4-color design with all kinda trippy junx going on, this is available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store. FREE 10″ included until we run out of em…. word!

We also have a pretty stacked distro update with over 30 new items and 50+ restocks. FOUR new releases (ISIS, RED SPAROWES, WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN), MANY new t-shirts (MAGRUDERGRIND, COUGH, etc) and a MASSIVE distro update (200+ items!

Over the past seven years we’ve released a lot of records involving Bryant Clifford Meyer. To get specific: over a dozen (TWO dozen if counting box sets). First within ISIS, then RED SPAROWES and finally WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN, we’ve been lucky to be a part of the bulk of BCM’s massive catalog of awesome tunes. So many good songs flow from this dude and his kin that we’re thrilled to announce today FOUR new releases and re-presses involving ol’ comrade Cliff. And now in reverse-chronological order of original release, here are many circular objects that our old friend (amongst others) is newly spread across…

Several years in the making, WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN thankfully return from obscurity to deliver an unexpected and stunning second album. Awash in waves of droney guitars, lush melodies and a vastly increased use of vocals (which were almost non-existent on the debut), WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN have created a truly hypnotic sophomore album. Reaching far beyond the limits of “post-rock”, these five varied tracks shift through the spectrum of being haunting, triumphant, captivating, oppressive and completely uplifting. Its a real “listening experience” that is rare to find at this caliber, expertly crafted by an array of musicians seasoned by years spent in ISIS, RED SPAROWES, 27, BLACKTAIL and more.

MORE INFO:
* We pressed 1000 of this: 600 on black, 200 of “pagan sun” (maroon/black mishmash) and 200 of “windmill” (grey/silver quad jawns) – check out a bigger image of the spread
* Preview the track “Pagan Sun” on WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN‘s Facebook and/or SoundCloud pages
* This is a seriously awesome surprise 2nd album, and a 3rd one is actually in the works…!
* Available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store

Los Angeles’ RED SPAROWES bypass the fabled sophomore slump by leaps and bounds on their second album, Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun, and after being sold out for a few years, this impressive 2xLP is finally available again! There is a definitively darker approach on this album, and the reference points of the past are less apparent, yet the band evokes intense emotions with more variety and depth than ever before. Powerful and dynamic, Every Red Heart displays RED SPAROWES within a captivating new path in the ever-evolving world of instrumental music. Comes in a beautiful gatefold jacket and is pressed on complimentary color vinyl.

MORE INFO:
* We pressed 1000 more for this 3rd pressing: 500 on “red heart” (super vivid semi-translucent red) and 500 on “red sun” (red/orangey/yellow blend) – check out a bigger image of the spread
* Preview tracks from Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun at RED SPAROWES bandcamp page
* Available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store

First released back in 2005, we’re pretty hyped to have RED SPAROWES‘ first album At The Soundless Dawn back in print after being sold out for years now. An undeniably massive album with an unconventional approach to creating instrumental aural landscapes. Dropping generous hints to shoegaze’s glorious past, RED SPAROWES debut subtly employs reverberating guitars to explore darker passages that flow more like orchestral movements than modern rock songs. A fantastic debut album, this 2xLP comes housed in a gatefold jacket and is finally available again!

MORE INFO:
* We pressed 1000 more for this 4th pressing: 500 on “swamp” and 500 on “forest” – check out a bigger image of the spread
* Preview tracks from At The Soundless Dawn at RED SPAROWES bandcamp page
* Available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store

Last (and certainly not least) in this massive Bryant Clifford Meyer-related-update is the quick repress of ISIS‘ recent Oceanic 2xLP reissue we just dropped. The entire pressing blew out in roughly a month so we chose to go ahead and fill the remaining 200 “tip on” gatefold jackets with a brief run of clear vinyl. This is likely to be the last of these for a little while, so nab one while you can. For those few unfamiliar with this band and/or album, we wrote a helluva lot about it last month when this came out, so please check out the Robotic Empire news blog there for full details.

MORE INFO:
* We ordered 200 more to fill out the remaining gatefold jackets, but a little overrun happened so there is also some available on the cheap as just vinyl-only (no fancy gatefold jackets)
* Be sure to check out the “Oceanic Japan” t-shirt we resurrected in correlation to this too (image here)
* Vinyl and t-shirts available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store

PHEW! Wow, thank you Cliff for all the music and for whatever comes next! Incredibly though, this isn’t even all of the label activity as we’ve got more on deck as well…

This outrageous 4-color MAGRUDERGRIND shirt design took literally years to finish, but we’re stoked to finally have this bad mamma jamma finished! The photos can’t seem to do this one justice (it looks awesome in person) and the original image for this wasn’t quite as intricate, so many hours were spent adding further detail to incorporate full usage of all 4 colors on this beastly t-shirt! MAGRUDERGRIND are one of the most brutal grind bands around, but also thankfully not afraid to stray from the path. This shirt is an accurate representation of that, with a classic skull image (including melting face partially still intact) joined by psychedelia, a beating heart, flowers and gnarly maggots. A perfect smattering of elements for one of our favorite heavy/fast bands going right now. Printed on super comfy brown Alstyle brand shirts (both sweatshop free & akin to American Apparel texturally), this one has been a long time coming and turned out awesome! Available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

Affiliated in regional heathenism are the badass COUGH t-shirts we recently stocked direct from the band. Although this isn’t exactly Robo-related, we did hustle them to print up these shirts… and since they actually made them themselves in maximum DIYness, we stocked up on THREE different designs. COUGH have been playing some awesome slow n’ heavy evil music for years now, and we’re psyched that our RVA bros are finally getting some solid attention elsewhere as well. The new shirts feature a Wizard, a Plague and Baphomet w/ PBR and Joints! Dig these killer shirts now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

OK last thing before the utterly ENORMOUS distro updates… the recent Ryan McLennan “sequel” Robotic Empire shirt got photographed along with all the other new shirts, and since it turned out awesome we wanted to mention it again as well. This is printed on one of the most comfortable (affordable) t-shirts around, the American Apparel grey tri-blend shirt, which we’ve printed on before with a very positive response. Actually wearing this new shirt while typing up this big update – feels good! It really is stupidly soft and comfortable, and the badass image of a freakin’ moose tearing up a robot bear does us just right! A bigger photo of this rad 3-color shirt can be viewed here and this is available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

Alright, are you ready for this? We’ve got over 200 (!!) new items and re-stocks this time and its almost impossible to mention all the awesome stuff we’ve conjured up for this update… but here’s an attempt to touch on a few crucial things we’ve got for ya:

New/old release from BARONESS, discounted FLOOR box sets and a KILLER update overall!

Years ago… before Relapse signed em, before getting to open for METALLICA (!), and before folks outside of the underground even really knew about em, a badass band from Georgia (via Virginia) named BARONESS released two EPs aptly titled First and Second. Both were snatched up by a rabidly growing fanbase, and have remained largely out of print since.

The band’s now-classic formative material has finally seen a proper reissue, combined together as one deluxe LP. A bit dirtier, punker and more metal than their current rock-infused catchy weirdness, First & Second is an important document in the lineage of this awesome band, and all 38 minutes of music have been completely re-mixed and re-mastered for a much fuller sound than ever before.

Housed in a beautiful gatefold jacket with guitarist/vocalist John Dyer Baizley’s elaborate and intricate artwork (spread through the exterior, interior and printed dustsleeve – larger image here), this foil-stamped beaut is now available for pre-order direct from Robotic Empire!

We’re really stoked to have witnessed BARONESS literally go from the basement to the arena in just a few years, and are extremely happy to play a small part in this LP. This release has been a LONG time coming, and while we’re not the label who put it out (Hyperrealist did), we are pretty much the main mailorder outlet for this bad mamma jamma aside from Hyperrealist themselves. 2000 copies of this beast have been pressed, with 500 on red vinyl, 500 on swirly olive vinyl and 1000 on black vinyl. All on the pressing plant floor ready to ship, we expect our copies to arrive here any time now. At a $14.99 price, you can pre-order this now direct from us at the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

Somewhat related on several levels is the limited tour pressing of BLACK TUSK‘s Passage Through Purgatory LP that we scored a few weeks back. Akin to the BARONESS reissue, this 12″ was also released by Hyperrealist, has awesome John Baizley artwork, and is primarily available through the Robotic Empire – Online Store. Only us and the band themselves have this available, as its limited to just 350 (signed n’ numbered) copies.

The other big addition/alteration to our Online Store this week is the newly discounted FLOOR Below & Beyond Deluxe Vinyl Box Set. To be more specific, during an inventory check we discovered that 13 copies (of less than 50 remaining in total) have some minor damage to the outer box and thus, can’t really be sold at full price. We tried to get more boxes to replace these damaged ones, but no extras were left… so for those who were interested in this but dissuaded by the $250 price tag, we’ve now got a slightly scuffed, slightly cheaper version available.

The damage is very minimal in general, just a slight scrape on the canvas of the outer box (see photo above) on most of these 13 copies. This effects vinyl and CD playability zero, so if you want all the tunes and artwork and everything that comes with the most elaborate project/release we’ve ever done, now’s the chance to nab it at a discounted price. This is also now available in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

p.s. for those in the Austin region, be sure to check out FLOOR live at the Fun Fun Fun Fest this upcoming weekend (Sun, Nov 7th), as it’s their last known/scheduled “reunion” performance… (for now?)

Last but not least is an absolutely KILLER update to the store as far as other new items and restocks go. Almost all bangers this time around, we’ve got new vinyl from BASTARD NOISE, CASPIAN, CLOUD MOUTH, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, JULIE CHRISTMAS (of BATTLE OF MICE, MADE OUT OF BABIES, etc), SKELETONWITCH and TRIAC… as well as essential restocks from FELL VOICES, KYLESA, PHOBIA, PIZZA and more. Gat dayum!

BLACK TUSK limited tour-only 12"!! Signed n’ numbered Baizley artwork, ltd to 350… heads up!

Hot on the heels of the EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE discography LP release (more info here if you missed it), we’ve got another very limited and deluxe LP exclusively available in the Robotic Empire – Online Store. This time is the (otherwise) tour-only edition of BLACK TUSK‘s debut album Passage Through Purgatory, released by our longtime Savannah brethren at Hyperrealist.

This beast of an album was dropped on unprepared souls a few years back, and with the first press long sold out Hyperrealist was wise enough to make another small batch for a recent tour. However, only 350 copies were made in total, and much of those went to the band themselves. We are the only mailorder spot to get this, and with a finely silk screened multi-color John Dyer Baizley jacket, we don’t expect them to last too long.

Even so, we still want to apologize for the high price tag on this one, but apparently it cost a small fortune to press and print. We got 150 copies of the 350 made, and the price is $29.99. This also comes on a beautiful teal colored vinyl, and hand-signed n’ numbered by our old dawg John Baizley himself.

This is truly a beautiful release though and worth every penny, with brutal jams to boot. BLACK TUSK have recently released their followup album on Relapse Records and have been road warriors for years. Their southern sludge stomp isn’t easily matched, and its not surprising they’re often uttered in the same breath as their fellow Georgian peers BARONESS, KYLESA and MASTODON. For those unfamiliar, you can preview their burly tunes here.

The special tour edition of Passage Through Purgatory is available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

Its also worth reiterating the latest Robotic Empire label release, one an insanely long time in the making. EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE were a crushing (and very ahead-of-their-time) band outta Austin, Texas and we just released their full discography LP. A whole lot of info on that can be found here and the release itself (and/or a silkscreen print) is now available exclusively through us, here.

Besides those two elaborate LP releases, we’ve gotten in another gnarly batch of items for the Robotic Empire – Online Store. Not exactly a ton of stuff, but almost all heavy hitters. Here ya go:

NEW ITEMS:
* Accept Death – Self-Titled 12″ (Hydrophonic) $14.99

That’s it for now, peace!

EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE discography LP finally released, tons of shirts +way more – BIG UPDATE!

The big news for the Robotic Empire – Online Store this week is the extremely long awaited release of the EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE discography! An untold time in the making (the master alone has been done for 4 years), we are absolutely thrilled to finally present this beast to you!

Early pioneers of mixing metal, punk, grind and hardcore, Austin, Texas’ EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE were almost TOO ahead of their time… blowing away the few that “got it”, leaving others slack-jawed and stunned. We were beyond words when witnessing these fiends in the late 90′s, and in the Robodog heyday were lucky enough to release the sic[sic] CD followup to their classic debut EP, Mother Spain and the Wayfaring Myth. Both of which comprise this stunning discography release.

Recorded back in 1998 and 2000, seriously think for a minute about what you were doing during that timeframe. These guys were busy pushing envelopes left and right, doing things that may seem somewhat commonplace today, but were generally weird and/or unheard of back in those days. They were one of the few bands that flawlessly incorporated both low, growly vocals AND dissonant melody within hardcore music… and beyond that, they actually constructed damn good songs utilizing additional elements pulled from punk, metal and grindcore influences.

The audio has been carefully re-mastered from the original DAT tapes… and ten blistering songs that absolutely stand the test of time are the result of many years of work. The hair-standing lyrics are still just as vital today as in they days which they were written, accompanying waves of distorted yet lush guitars, completely frantic and unique drumming, plus a general energy and passion that is hard sought and much coveted. To put it lightly, EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE were a band of rare quality.

Part of the reason why this release has taken so long to see the light of the day is the artwork. Originally designed with the CD-sized format of sic[sic] in mind, Aaron Turner’s original layout has been meticulously reconstructed for the vinyl edition. Keeping the feel and theme of sic[sic] in mind, the imagery has been modified to spread across two LP-sized panels of a three-color silkscreened jacket (printed by Broken Press, another photo of which can be seen here). Also included is a double sided photocopied insert, cloth patch, 1″ button and free digital download. We are charging $12.99 for this release; all copies come on clear colored vinyl and the entire pressing is limited to just 300 copies.

A lot of thought and time has gone into the presentation of this release, as it is the last will and testament to a band from another era. EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE left a lasting impression on us that started over a decade ago, and we’re honored to present this discography for your enjoyment. We hope you’ll take something from it as well.

* This is available NOW in the Robotic Empire – Online Store
* Two preview tracks from this discography release can be heard on our Facebook and/or Myspace pages
* One track can be downloaded (along with 17 others) on our recent FREE Robotic Empire – Label Sampler 2k10

Phew! Wow, quite a lot to say about a band that only so many people have heard of. PLEASE check out the discography if you can though, we highly recommend it! Beyond that, we’ve also got an outstanding update for the Robotic Empire – Online Store that would be noteworthy even without the EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE LP:

Standout new stuff this time include the long-awaited DOVE vinyl release (ex-FLOOR, ex-CAVITY, pre-HOUSE OF LIGHTNING), two excellent GRAILS LP reissues on color wax that the band recently re-pressed themselves (both of which we originally released), plus a slew of killer t-shirts officially licensed by Bad Skulls including CHARLES BRONSON, IRON LUNG and SPAZZ! On the re-stock tip we’ve got a handful of distributor-returned BATTLE OF MICE / JESU CDs (last chance to dance on this one), DOLCIM LPs, two shirts from Eat Death and a couple other jammers as well. NEON BASTARD debut out now (+giveaway), new RED SPAROWES and way more!

We’re excited to announce that a new Robotic Empire label release is now available, this time from New Zealand beasts NEON BASTARD! Meikhaus is the name of their album and CD is the circular format we’ve released it on. There’s 11 tracks within 22 minutes, so that should say something about the frenzied pace of this maniacal debut. We’re talkin furious punk, raging hardcore, stoney riffs, gritty noise rock and blasting powerviolence attacks.

Incidentally this is the second gnarly band from magical the land of kiwis that we’ve worked with, the first being last year’s crushing debut EP from DIAL, whom NEON BASTARD share a guitar player. Incestious yes, but damn good jams of a very different nature are found on Meikhaus. The first 50 brave orderers will also get a free 1″ NEON BASTARD button. Also: the first person to accurately guess what band (& release) NEON BASTARD have blatantly plagiarized on their album cover gets a FREE copy of said album!

* This is available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store

* You can hear two tracks here, or possibly here (if you can find the player)

* Tracks from NEON BASTARD, DIAL and 16 others can be found now on our FREE Robotic Empire Label Sampler 2k10. Lil Jon approved!

Decibel Magazine was kind enough to give Meikhaus a nice little review too, found in the current issue with REFUSED on the cover. The detailed history of their landmark The Shape of Punk to Come album is a pretty good read as well. Pick that up here.

Beyond that overdue new label activity, we’ve also got a really solid update for the Robotic Empire – Online Store this week. Almost everything new is notable on some level, but standouts include the new PIZZA er… uh TEENS IN TROUBLE cassette (wtf name change / no more slices?!), new RED SPAROWES on both CD and vinyl, TAIGA import LP (Cliff from ISIS/RED SPAROWES/WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN solo ambient glory), more imports and even more killer imports. New releases & re-presses from THOU, HEWHOCORRUPTS, SHITSTORM, SUFFOCATE FOR FUCK SAKE and more!

We are psyched to announce that the previously (and quickly) sold out THOU EP, Baton Rouge, You Have Much to Answer For, is now available again on both vinyl and cassette. We re-pressed the vinyl on black (1000) and tapes on red (200). Same artwork, same inserts, same music and all… just available again, this time with a sweet corresponding t-shirt printed up as well. The shirt is (reappropriated) artwork from the gatefold LP jacket’s back cover, and turned out really awesome. 2-color front, 1-color back and red & black ink on “athletic grey” sweatshop-free t-shirts; you can see a bigger image of the front artwork here. There’s no package deals or anything set up, but we tried to keep the prices pretty low on all this stuff.

For those living under a rock and still unfamiliar with the grossly prolific THOU, they are easily our favorite southern sludge/doom band in years and a true force to be reckoned with both live and on record. A seething ode to their city of inception, Baton Rouge, You Have Much To Answer For contains by far some of THOU‘s best material released to date, and one of the most downtrodden recordings we’ve been a part of over the past 11+ years of doing this label. It’s an “EP” because it’s 4 songs total, but it’s also over 30 minutes of crushing music, set to the tune of the end of times. Like all of their recordings, its available for free download on their website or if you’re oldschool and want the physical “real thing”, this EP and most of the rest of the available THOU releases are available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

Related to this (but not actually our release) is a killer writeup NPR (!) just gave in regards to both THOU‘s live experience and their new album Summit. Very cool to see such a respected publication shine a little light down into the underground, this time directly onto our friends. You can read the article here and/or pre-order the new Summit CD release from our brethren at Gilead Media (we’ll be stocking it too as soon as its publicly available).

At another end of the hardcore/metal spectrum is the recent HEWHOCORRUPTS Midi of Profits USB Rubber Bracelet release. Attacking capitalism through a more tongue-in-cheek approach (vs THOU‘s somewhat blunt methods), HEWHOCORRUPTS have flown the “corporate grindcore” flag for years, culminating in probably their most absurd release ever (exceeding a credit card-sized CD housed in a wallet, a NSFW split calendar and a 7″ packaged with shredded US currency). Yes, that’s right… this is a functional AND fashionable USB-chip-infused rubber bracelet with meticulously recreated MIDI-based songs held within, inspired in part by their classic Master of Profits EP which displayed a masterful love/hate relationship with METALLICA. Long story short, this 1gb USB chip bracelet is packed with music, videos, tabulator, animated GIFs and other awesome nonsense to justify the pure stupidity of creating this thing. Limited to 200 copies and available now in the Robotic Empire – Online Store.

Beyond the recent label activity, there’s also been a steady stream of killer new stuff and restocks in the Robotic Empire – Online Store. This week we’ve got another “exclusively distributed” item, the new one from Swedish post-metal outfit SUFFOCATE FOR FUCK SAKE. We couldn’t keep their previous stuff in stock, and are the only US outlet you can order this monster 2xLP from. Also new in the expletive-band-name front is the long-awaited blistering split 7″ from SHITSTORM and CONGA FURY, showcasing easily the heaviest n’ fiercest SHITSTORM tracks to date. Solely re-stocking cassettes this week, mostly from our screamy-hardcore-lovin’ Malaysian friends at Utarid, here’s the full list:

HEWHOCORRUPTS release "Midi of Profits" USB bracelet (!) on Robotic Empire +big Online Store updates

In the works for a stupidly long time, its kind of amazing we didn’t (completely) spill the beans on this one. Chicago’s HEWHOCORRUPTS are no stranger to weird releases; the “corporate grindcore” outfit have formerly issued a credit card sized CD housed in a wallet, a NSFW split calendar, an EP packaged with shredded money, etc… but this one probably takes the cake.

Midi of Profits is what it’s called, and a frikkin 1gb USB bracelet is what it is: that’s right, we’ve released a rubber USB bracelet with MIDI songs on it. The files in question are meticulously re-created computerized versions of HEWHOCORRUPTS‘ classic Master of Profits EP, but now with MIDI guitars, machine drums and vocoded vocals. An insane amount of time was spent making these completely absurd tracks, and we are blown away with how accurately they digitally reflect the originals.

To spice it up even further, the band includes tablature for all the songs, two classic/incredible/related music videos, album art, credits and more on this fully functional 1gb USB-chip-infused rubber bracelet. Fashionable AND functional, per the HEWHOCORRUPTS corporate mantra. You can wear it and share it, but the only place to get this beaut is through the Robotic Empire – Online Store (and the band themselves). We only made 200 of these bad mamma jammas, so grab one now or forever cry yourself to sleep.

* LISTEN HERE
* ORDER HERE

Appropriately we are also running a large scale sale at the moment, to clear some room for “fresh new stock” per our own corporate mantra. In other words, we’re selling all standalone CDs and DVDs on our site (priced over five bucks) for $2 less than usual right now, even if they’re already discounted! This “clearance special” is only running until the end of the month, so check it out now if you like shiny discs on the cheap!

Beyond those white-collar activities, we also have a host of new jams for all the blue-collar and no-collar punx out there. This week the Robotic Empire – Online Store sees new additions from the absurdly prolific THOU, longtime favorites DOVE, Richmond’s SOUVENIR’S YOUNG AMERICA‘s new one, the revamped INTEGRITY and more. Plus a fairly stacked Init Records restock makes this a sweet little stash o’ stuff:

* Dad They Broke Me – ROT 12″+CD (We Empty Rooms) $15.99

Finally, we also want to mention we’ve added another band to our roster: NEON BASTARD from New Zealand will see their debut album “Meikhaus” released by us on September 7th. Uncomfortably nestled somewhere in the midst of powerviolence/punk/sludge/grind/stoner rock… these four weirdos have concocted an maniacal debut and we’re psyched to release it! You can read more about all that here. Heads up!

Thanks ya’ll / peace!
